Prynth is an open source framework for the creation of self-contained Digital Music Instruments, currently in development at the Input Devices and Music Interaction Lab (IDMIL) of McGill University.

It facilitates prototyping through a set of hardware and software components combined with the Raspberry Pi single-board computer (RPi).

Prynth is freely available to the public in the form of an online repository and accompanying support website. With open and accessible technologies we hope to reach a wide user community and access a rich palette of different use cases, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
